Doctors did not reach New Mexico until the turn of the 20th century, and even then, they were few and far between. People had to treat their ailments with resources the earth provided and knowledge passed down through generations. Take a guided walk around our historic property and learn about the knowledge, practices, and belief systems that form the ancestral ways of healing in New Mexico.

This is a walking tour, approximately 2 hours. Remember to bring water and wear comfortable shoes, a hat, and sunscreen.

*The intent of this tour is NOT to teach you how to be a healer or herbalist, nor promote any of the practices pertaining to those topics.

When: Starts at 10am
Price: Tours cost $15 per person, $10 for members. All day admission to the museum is included.
