What benefits do I receive as a member?

Members receive exclusive benefits, such as free museum admission, free admission to festivals, and a 10% discount in the Museum Store. For a full list of Member Benefits, click here.

How do I become a member?

You can purchase a membership online here, in person at the Museum Store or admission booth when you visit during normal hours of operation, or by mailing a check and your full contact information to:

Can I give a membership as a gift?

Yes—memberships make wonderful gifts for friends and family! Gift memberships can be purchased online here, in person at the Museum Store or admission booth when you visit during normal hours of operation, or by mailing a check and your full contact information with attention to Membership Department to:

Do you offer discounted membership for seniors, veterans, students, or active-duty military?

At this time we do not offer a membership discount for senior citizens, veterans, students, or active duty military. However, seniors, veterans, and students receive discounted daily admission to the museum and most festivals. In addition, El Rancho de Las Golondrinas participates in the Blue Star Museum program which grants free admission to those currently serving in the United States Military and their family members. Valid military ID is required. 

How long does my membership last?

Your membership is active at the time of purchase and valid for 12 full calendar months after the purchase date. For example, if you purchase your membership on September 15, 2024, it will expire on September 30, 2025. 

How do I reserve my member tickets for festivals?

As a member benefit, members get free admission to all festival weekends. However, you must reserve your free tickets online in advance on HoldMyTicket.com. Choose the “El Rancho de Las Golondrinas Members” tickets and check out. HoldMyTicket will email your tickets to you, which will include QR codes that are scannable by admissions staff. 

Can members attend sold-out festivals if we didn’t reserve tickets online?

Because space and parking are limited at our festivals, we encourage members to plan ahead and reserve their tickets early. If you were not able to reserve tickets before the festival sold out, please contact [email protected] to inquire about additional member tickets. 

When will my membership card arrive?

We strive to mail membership cards within 5 business days, but during the busy summer season, it can sometimes take up to 3–4 weeks. In the meantime, you can use your membership benefits by presenting a valid photo ID when you visit during normal hours of operation.

As a member, can I bring other guests to the museum for free?

Starting at the Supporter Level, your membership benefits include guest passes! Supporter Level members receive two guest passes, while Patron Level members receive four guest passes. These passes can be used for daily admission or festival admission (excluding Wine Festival and Renaissance Faire). 

How many names can I have on my membership?

Individual level ($40) allows one adult per membership. Family level and above ($60+) allow two adults per membership, and all children/grandchildren under 18. Child names are not required for the membership. 

Can I give my membership card to someone else?

Memberships are non-transferable. Membership can only be used by the person listed on the membership card.

How do I get a replacement membership card?

If your card was lost or stolen, please contact [email protected] for a replacement card. 

Can I visit without my membership card?

Please present a valid photo ID when you visit during normal hours of operation.

Do you have digital membership cards?

At this time we do not have digital membership cards. You will receive a paper membership card in the mail. 

How do I upgrade my membership to a higher level? 

You may upgrade your membership at any time by paying the difference of your upgrade. For example, you are currently an Individual member ($40) but would like to add your family to your membership. You can upgrade to a Family/Couple membership ($60) by paying $20 to cover the cost of the upgraded membership. Please include a note stating that you wish to upgrade your membership and listing your name, address, and the membership level you wish to upgrade to. Also include the name of your new member cardholder, and they will be added to your membership. Payment can be completed with credit card by phone or by mailing a check to El Rancho de Las Golondrinas. 

What is the NARM benefit?

Memberships at the Supporter Level ($100) and higher receive a complimentary membership in the North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) Association. Bring your Las Golondrinas membership card (with a gold NARM sticker on the back) for free or discounted admission to over 1,000 museums and cultural institutions across North America.
