Join us for a two-day program (offered by Amy Owen of Desert Hives) covering beekeeping basics, giving attendees the tools needed to dive deeper and succeed on their beekeeping journey. This program focuses on sustainable and responsible beekeeping practices. You’ll also get local beekeeping resources and networking opportunities. Amy hopes to shift your perspective from honey to the importance of these amazing creatures in our ecological and food systems. She will provide information on how to support and advocate for honey bees and other pollinators.
