Since El Rancho de Las Golondrinas’ inception, our Spring Festival has become a yearly tradition. As the season comes to an end, we gather to celebrate the blossoming of New Mexico’s rich cultural heritage. Watch our annual sheep shearing, using historic methods from centuries past, and authentic horno bread baking. See traditional weaving and dyeing demonstrations along with child-centered crafts tailored just for them. Adults can explore dozens of artisan and food vendors, and take in an afternoon drink from Tumbleroot Brewery or New Mexico Hard Cider. See traditional Hispanic dance traditions with La Sociedad Colonial Española de Santa Fe, and Indigenous dancers with Lightning Boy Foundation.

Explore the hundreds of acres that make up this historic Rancho, and meet Civil War reenactors who will bring you into the territorial era. Learn to grind corn, to make adobe brick, and create tin stamp art.

Santa Fe Spring Festival is where you come to see a real, living “old” New Mexico: a blend of Hispanic, Indigenous and Anglo traditions born over the centuries that have built the New Mexico we know and love. Las Golondrinas’ Spring Festival is a must-attend event for visitors and locals alike.
