From late spring of 2025 through to the first freeze in October resting traps were placed near the pond in the Lenora Curtin Wetland Preserve where they were monitored once per week. This presentation discusses the findings of this study along with some general information about mosquitoes and the challenges that they present.
Dr. Ken Cradock is a medical and veterinary entomologist whose research interests lie in the understanding of the ecology of arthropod disease vectors. His research has focused on the use of non-chemical management approaches to prevent arthropods from locating hosts and suppressing vector populations.
