Pino House

The Pino House was constructed around 1916 by the Pino Family. This building was the last Hispanic-built ranch house at Las Golondrinas and is on the Historic Santa Fe Foundation Registry of Historic Buildings. After the Curtin Family purchased the property in 1934 it became the Ranch Foreman’s house and was lived in by the Blackwelder Family. The plans for the home were purchased from a catalogue and the house was constructed using adobes and mud plaster instead of the intended wood frame and siding. Note the sawn wood shingles which were the original roof material. This site is currently under development as a new exhibit and event space.
