“The Swallow’s Nest” Museum Shop

The gift shop manager and sales personnel have been working hard this winter and spring, getting The Swallow’s Nest ready for another season. And it’s going to be a great one!

You’ll want to come early in the festival season for the best selection as many of these new items won’t last long and there are only limited quantities available!

Featured this season are the works of several new, local New Mexico artists including jewelers, photographers, wood carvers, candle makers and traditional artists.

By popular demand, The Swallow’s Nest now has an assortment of swallow-themed items as well as branded El Rancho de las Golondrinas merchandise including magnets, key chains, pins, patches, pendants, belt buckles, earrings, note cubes, baseball caps, tees and polo shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags and wine totes.

The gift shop’s line of Dia de los Muertos merchandise has been expanded to include many new items and for the first time, each festival will have it’s very own themed merchandise. For example, Panza Llena, Corazón Contento: New Mexico Beer and Food Festival will feature the work of Sean Wells who has created special rolling pins, wooden spoons, framed prints and posters for this festival.

There are beautiful, hand carved, wooden santos and retablos, crosses, jewelry boxes, angels, and even retablos featuring dogs!

Our weavers have also been busy and you will find a huge assortment of yarn skeins from our own Churro sheep as well as weaving kits and books.

Of course, there is also a broad array of period correct toys for children, made in America, as well as an assortment of plush animals. You will find quoits, nine pins, dominoes, wire puzzles, tic tac toe, hangman, jaw harps, harmonicas, the game of graces, clay marbles, jacks and much, much more.

Be sure to include a visit to The Swallow’s Nest when you come to El Rancho de las Golondrinas and take a piece of the Ranch home with you!
