This two-day workshop gives attendees a foundational framework for successful beekeeping in our unique desert environment and will be split between classroom learning and hands-on apiary training. These classes will focus on how beekeepers can help the bees meet their needs of good habitat, nutrition, and disease resistance. Attendees will also receive resources for continuing their beekeeping education (information on local and state beekeeping organizations and online resources).
