PBS “Travels with Darley” features Las Golondrinas!

“Travels with Darley” Season Five episodes are scheduled to air on PBS! El Rancho de las Golondrinas is featured on the “Santa Fe Adventures” episode which will air on May 19th at 3:30pm.

“Travels with Darley” takes viewers around the world with Emmy-nominated host, Darley Newman, and locals as the guides to experience culture, cuisine, history and outdoor adventure. The series reaches over 96% of the US on PBS stations and recently completed its 30th half hour.

In each episode, Darley travels with locals in beautiful and awe-inspiring locations to experience authentic adventures and reveal a greater sense of place. Each episode introduces viewers to diverse cultures and traditions and what makes each location truly unique. Darley’s on-camera local counterparts are the true stars of each episode, as they lead Darley through their world.

From rich history and scenery in New Mexico to charming villages and art in New York’s Southern Finger Lakes to culture and cuisine along France’s Cote d’Azur, Season Five of “Travels with Darley” takes the viewer through the US and Europe to uncover fascinating finds including El Rancho de las Golondrinas with local guide, Pedro Martinez!

The first PBS station which aired the episodes was out of Los Angeles, California and started March 25th, with the majority of the PBS stations around the country airing in April and May.

The local air dates and times, all via KNME-HD 5.1 are as follows:

  • “New Mexico’s Continental Divide Trail” airs April 21 at 3:30pm
  • “Santa Fe Arts & Culture” airs April 28 at 3:30pm
  • “Santa Fe Adventures” airs May 19 at 3:30pm

The “Santa Fe Arts & Culture” and “Santa Fe Adventures” episodes are the ones that really have the Santa Fe County focus but the “New Mexico Continental Divide Trail” does have some footage from the Santa Fe Georgia O’Keeffe Museum.

Amazon Prime will have Darley Newman’s “Equitrekking” and “Travels with Darley” television episodes to stream within the next two months. As with Amazon Prime, the first 13 episodes will be available. The Santa Fe County episodes will be forthcoming on Amazon Prime within six months. “Travels with Darley” is on PBS, AOL, MSN and, in the near future, Amazon Prime.
