Spanish Market Award Winners
Spanish Market was held the weekend of July 29 and 30, and it was a huge success with visitors from around the world in attendance! Each year, El Rancho de las Golondrinas sponsors two major awards which are presented during Spanish Market. We are thrilled to report this year’s winners!
El Rancho de las Golondrinas Award for Excellence in Traditional Tinwork
Jason Baca, from Albuquerque, for his piece entitled, “Los Cuatro Evangelicos de Jesucristo.”
Christine Montaño Carey from Santa Fe, for her piece entitled, “Jardin de la Mariposa (Garden of the Butterflies).”
Justin Gallegos Mayrant, from Santa Fe, for his piece entitled, “Tribute to the Rio Arriba Painted Tin Workshop.”
Leonora Curtin Paloheimo Award for Excellence in Traditional Furniture, sponsored by El Rancho de las Golondrinas
