Santa Fe’s Native Market

Passionately dedicated to the preservation of New Mexico’s culture and heritage, El Rancho de las Golondrinas founder, Mrs. Leonora Curtin Paloheimo, started Native Market during the Great Depression in 1934 as a commercial outlet and platform for New Mexican artisans and craftsmen to showcase and sell their work. A visit to El Rancho de las Golondrinas will introduce you to some of these original pieces that have since been incorporated into exhibits throughout the site.
